Ben Coleman Associates have recently acted on behalf of Cottons Chartered Accountants, providing advice regarding their relocation from Regency House, Albion Place to 1 Billing Road.

Cottons originally occupied the property in Albion Place in 2008 and during the last few years have expanded their business to such an extent that they needed to double the size of their office space.

They approached Ben Coleman – he had previously provided advice for them on a number of commercial property matters – and instructed him to carry out a search for larger premises.

1 Billing Road was identified and after a period of negotiation a transaction was struck with a delayed completion which enabled Ben to market their existing premises.

A purchaser was soon found and again a delayed completion was agreed in order to facilitate a smooth move between the two properties.

Cottons are now settling into their new property and managing partner Nick Warne commented, “We are extremely pleased to locate to this prestigious property. Our preference has always been to be a town centre business and Billing Road is an important hub for professional businesses. Our close association with Ben and his team was pertinent in achieving this very positive progression for Cottons Northampton.”

‘Ben has acted for us for over 20 years on many transactions. He knows his market inside-out and has all the qualities a property investor/developer like us need. What sets him apart is he really knows what it takes to close a deal’
